Weed & moss control

Weeds spoil the lawn's appearance and consume soil nutrients, crowding out the grass. Frequent mowing helps prevent weeds, but isn't always enough — weeds can arrive from neighbouring properties. Since we're licensed to use professional herbicides, we can eliminate even the most stubborn weeds without harming the lawn.

Moss is a very common problem, usually caused by excess moisture, under-fertilizing, acidic soil, or insufficient sunlight. We use a quality fertilizer containing nitrogen and ammonium/iron sulphate — since moss cannot tolerate rapid pH changes, it turns brown and disappears, while the nitrogen accelerates grass growth.
